Fresh water fishermen on the Kent and East Sussex border have a wonderful facility in Hawkhurst Fish Farm. The fish farm has no fewer than four lakes that contain Carp, Tench and Golden Orfe. Tackle, bait, reels and rods can all be purchased within the site’s tackle shop and refreshments are available from the cafe. Non fishermen will also enjoy the tranquil countryside setting with a wide variety of bird and wildlife just a short drive on the main Hastings Road out of Hawkhurst in Kent.

I've fished Hawkhurst Fish Farm for a couple of years now and can safely say its one of the best carp and catfish waters around. I've always had good experiences with the friendly bailiffs who are more than happy to give advice and their insure tackle shop and cafe are easily the best in the area. The prices are a little high I feel but this just reflects to quality if the fishing on offer. I've seen a 70lb catfish caught from the main lake and a 38lb common from Dove lake as well!
