The village of Hextable, near Swanley in Kent, has a rich and diverse history and the Hextable Heritage Centre was established to record and preserve as much of this history as possible. The centre is located next to Hextable Gardens and the Heritage Society holds meetings every second Thursday of the month at which guest speakers are invited to attend. The centre received a National Lottery Grant of half a million pounds to enhance the exhibition and make it more attractive to visitors.
