Construction of the church at Queenborough on the Isle of Sheppey was started in 1366. Building work continued on the church, which was originally dedicated to St James, but later was changed to the Church of the Holy Trinity. Construction of the church is in the traditional Norman style with flint being the main building material. The church today sits squarely on the main High Street in the village and has a small churchyard in front.
