This church is unusual in its positioning as it is aligned north to south. Although not an ancient church, the building is one of the more attractive parish churches in the area. Built in 1834 at the cost of £1826 the church has been the centre of community life in the beautiful village of Forest Row since then. Situated on the northern edge of Ashdown forest, the parish has grown due to the desirability of the area as a place to live. The church has been expended on several occasions to accommodate this growth.
