Hove Lagoon was first built in 1930 and was designed around two lagoons, one of 3 thousand square metres and a much larger 19500 square metre lagoon. During World War Two the lagoon was used to train Royal Navy personnel. The pool area is home to a number of watersports activities such as sailing clubs and model boat clubs as well as being home to a children’s play area, paddling pool and a skate park for youngsters to enjoy.
