In the 1930s the height of fashion was to sail on paddle steamers and with the Kingswear Castle you can relive those glory days. Originally built in 1924 for use on the River Dart in Devon and used by American forces in the Second World War. Kingswear Castle remained in service until 1965 but was restored from 1971 until 1985 when she re-entered service on the River Medway. Today she is based at the Historic Dockyard Chatham and can be hired out for private events and short cruises.
