Lamb House is a fine brick-fronted property in Rye that has enjoyed literary associations for several centuries. Built in the 18th Century, the property has been owned and managed by the National Trust since 1950. Henry James lived here from 1898 until 1916, and later authors EF Benson and Rumer Godden called this their home. Some of James’ personal artefacts are on display within the property.
