Lewis Carol's house stands at the heart of of historic Hastings in Wellington Square, a grand old series of town houses. Carol is one of the best known British writers and enjoyed the relative seclusion of this seaside town, away from the busy streets of London. He is probably best remembered for his children's classic, 'Alice in Wonderland'.
