Linton has a 13th Century church dedicated to St Nicholas. It is home to a well known collection of monuments, including some by the sculptor, EH Baily, who was the artist responsible for the statue of Nelson in Trafalgar Square. The village of Linton is in a conservation area. There are stunning views across to the Weald of Kent.

  Latest Linton Review

Linton suffers from being on one of the busiest road junctions in Mid Kent with traffic thundering through every day of the year. However, if you stop and look around it is a charming period village with mostly original Victorian era buildings as well as a beautiful country church. The Bull Inn, incidentally, does a fantastic Sunday roast at affordable prices and the meal is delicious.   - Kenny Stammer

I grew up not far from Linton and found it a lovely small village with a fair collection of shops and local amenities. It is dissected by some busy roads leading to and from the county town of Kent Maidstone, but is also close to some of the counties best rural landscapes near Marden, Yalding and Wateringbury.   - Paula57
