Just outside of the large village of West Malling can be found Manor Park Country Park. Built on the site of the 18th Century estate of aristocrat Thomas Douce today the park offers pleasant walks and entertainment for all the family. The site offers lakes and meadows and has been designated as a site of Nature Conservation Interest. Of note is the remains of the Ice House, used to provide ice for use in the estate.
