The Marlipins Museum is housed in a building that offers a fascinating mix of old and new, fusing one of the oldest structures in Sussex with an annex built in 2004. The permanent displays in the museum concentrate on the important maritime heritage and archaeological significance of this area. The upstairs galleries are dedicated to local agriculture, the film industry and the two world wars amongst other things.
