I grew up near these woods and almost every weekend we kids would go spend our time playing in the woods, acting out games and make believe situations. It was great and what is even better is that when I go there now with my own kids, they do exactly the same thing as I did when I was young. The woods are quite large and you could easily spend hours there without seeing anyone else. A great free place to visit.
