Monk’s House is famous because it was the country retreat of the world famous novelist Virginia Woolf and her husband Leonard. The rooms within the house have been preserved as they were in 1969 when Leonard died and the house became unoccupied. This interesting building internally reflects the fascinating literary world that these people moved in.
