The Museum of Sussex Archaeology is home to a massive collection that has been excavated from across the county. There has been a lot of activity in this area over the past few million years and the collection shows fossils, artefacts and other pieces of interest. If you have an interest either academically or simply through idle curiosity in what once happened here, the museum is well worth a visit.
