Oakhurst Cottage was built in the 16th Century, and is one of the best-preserved examples of a timber-framed cottage in the area. It is preserved and protected by the National Trust, ensuring that future generations can enjoy its splendour. Inside, you will find restored furnishings that would have belonged to a labourer. The delightful gardens are arranged in a Victorian style.
