Winner of the Gulbenkain Prize for museums and art galleries, the most prestigious arts prize in the UK, Pallant House Gallery recently battled against museums across the country to be named Museum of the Year 2007. This hidden gem of a gallery in the back streets of historic Chichester, houses one of the best collections of Modern British art outside London with big name artists such as Peter Blake, Richard Hamilton, Andy Goldsworthy, Walter Sickert and Graham Sutherland.
