Having read the books and watched the films, once your there you can feel the stories coming back to life, but this time your part of it. It's such a lovely place to visit.

This is a lovely little spot in the woods at the end a pretty country lane. I have played Pooh Sticks here with little ones many times, and they always have fun.
Watch out for horses – the path over the bridge is also a popular bridle path to Ashdown Forest, and horses tend to rush across it. If you’re walking, you can reach the forest – where Winnie the Pooh and his friends lived – in about five minutes from here. Just keep walking up the hill. Note that the path gets very muddy in winter.

Had a lovely Sunday walk last week in mid October down to Pooh Bridge for a race with many other families who had also collected their sticks en route. The walk has numerous sitting spots for you to just enjoy the scenery and a lovely cup of tea and scrummy cake can be partaken at the cafe in the tiny High Street just a short drive away - a smashing family outing for all.
