This bath house was excavated between 1971 and 1975, and remains one of the most significant ancient finds in this area. The house consists of three clearly defined rooms, which probably date from around 270SD. It is thought that a large Anglo-Saxon community in the area around this time would have also used the site for Pagan activities. There are regular open days here, where you can learn more about the area and its history.
