Reculver Country Park covers 37 hectares of meadows and grassland just east of Herne Bay. Part of the area is a Local Nature Reserve and much of it is a Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI). Attractions include footpaths with stunning sea views, picnic areas, a visitor centre, a Roman fort and Reculver Towers, the stirring waterside remains of a 12th-century church. The Park is managed by Kent Wildlife Trust, which organizes walks and events.
