Robert Bevan is one of the earliest painters to adopt the Brighton and Hove area as his home, living in this wonderful town houses in Brunswick Square. A great 19th a early 20th Century artist he set a trend for painters to come to the south coast for inspiration, living their lives near the sea and exposed to the elements. His works are well regarded and can be found on display across the world in some of the finest galleries.
