Inside this magnificent Victorian building, there are outstanding art collections and fascinating museum displays. Highlights include the paintings of TS Cooper, considered to be England's finest cattle painter, ceramics, and a recently acquired Van Dyck painting. Also here is the Buffs Regimental Museum, which exhibits medals, trophies, mess silver, weapons and other artefacts from one of England's oldest infantries. Events include family activity days and classes.
