Laid out by the eminent landscape gardener Capability Brown in the 18th Century, and then further developed in the early 20th Century by Arthur G Soames, this is without a doubt one of the most spectacular pieces of parkland in the region. There are four lakes that act as a centrepiece to the park, surrounded by mature tress and carefully planted flowers and plants of varying types, making for a place of rest and relaxation all year around.
