The Shipwreck Heritage Centre is located in the old fishing quarter of Hastings and is surrounded by working fishing boats. The Museum is a wing of the Nautical Heritage Association and was opened in 1986 as a way of exhibiting the artefacts and historical documents and photographs that have been collected from and about shipwrecks both in the local area and further afield.
