Shorne is a village located about three miles from Gravesend in Kent and has an attractive parish church dedicated to St Peter and St Paul. The area known as Shorne Ridgeway falls within the parish. In 2007 the Tour De France passed through Shorne as the race travelled along Gravesend Road.
