A venue for local and national art, the Sidney Cooper Gallery exhibits work running from sculpture by students from Canterbury Christ Church University to paintings by national artists. Previous exhibitions have included Botticelli's Babes, which featured a group of professional Ashford artists, and landscape paintings by London-based artist, Nigel Murray. The Gallery is named after the British cattle painter, Sidney Cooper, who founded an art school here in 1882. Events include lectures and workshops. Admission is free.
