This beautiful piece of early 16th Century architecture was the home of Ellen Terry, and represents one of the most charming surviving examples of its time in the county. Originally built for the harbourmaster, the half-timbered property is close to what would have once been a thriving port area. The house is dominated inside by an extensive collection of theatre memorabilia related to the Victorian actress Terry and her contemporaries.
