The South Downs Planetarium is without a doubt one of the most interesting museums in the locality. The centre features a hundred seat Star Theatre with a planetarium projector, dome and ten-metre diameter projection range. It also has an extensive associated library, laboratory and information technology centre. Visitors can observe weather pictures from satellite, Hubble telescopic images, and remote observing with robotic observatories.
