St. Edmund’s Pleasance is a medium-sized piece of parkland that stands at the top of East Hill, overlooking the whole of Dartford and the surrounding areas. The place is one of the most beautiful spots in the area to sit and relax, away from the hustle and the bustle of town life. The park is well wooded around the edge and is well kept by the local authority. The light of the smoggy city at sunset is one of the great wonders of the pleasance.
