St Faith’s Church is a magnificent building in the centre of Maidstone. Construction started in 1872 a short distance away from what would become Maidstone Museum and Bentliff Art Gallery. A chapel had already been on the site chosen to build the church on land given to Dutch Refugees in the 1500’s. To the rear of the church is Brenchley Gardens together with its bandstand for summer concerts. The church itself holds regular worships and concerts.
