The village of Ickham, just outside of Canterbury in Kent, sits alongside a pleasant stream and at its heart is the ancient church of St John the Evangelist. The church has a tall tapering spire and a long and wide entrance and is also surrounded by a large graveyard which has a number of mature native trees. Of particular interest is the tomb of Thomas de Baa who died in 1339 and a collection of stained glass windows.
