St. John’s is the historic parish church of this beautiful historic area of Coulsdon in Surrey. The building is grade I listed with good reason as it displays a fine selection of internal and external architectural features. It is thought that the foundations of the church were laid in the 13th Century and it took about two hundred years to complete with a major extension being added in the 1950s. The church is home to a large local Christian community.
