St Margaret’s Bay library is absolutely charming. It’s very small, but has much the same facilities as bigger libraries, including internet access and a range of media to rent, as well as books. We use it sometimes for a change from the bigger local libraries, as its size and location makes it pleasant to use. It’s great if you’re on holiday in the area, as you can pop in for a browse without having to leave the village. Parking is quite tricky, though, so you may need to park some distance from the library and walk the last few hundred yards. I recommend a visit, if for no other reason than to demonstrate its importance as a vital community resource.
