The church of St Margarets in the Kentish hamlet of Collier Street was built around the 1840s. The church is a large and impressive structure and has many interesting features including a fine collection of stained glass windows. Also of note is the entrance gate and gable erected during the Second World War by members of the Home Guard who used the church and the surrounding areas as a meeting place during World War Two.
