The tiny Kent hamlet of Womenswold, near Canterbury, has the large and impressive St Margaret's church that can chart its history back to Norman times. In layout the church follows fairly traditional lines comprising of a nave, chapel and a single square somewhat squat tower. Inside the church there are a variety of interesting features including three Victorian hanging monuments as well as some splendid stained glass windows.
