The modern church of St Mark's in the rural community of Staplecross in East Sussex is right at the heart of the village. The church and its hall provides ample space for a primary school and its playing field as well as being useful for group, social and adult activities out of school time. St Mark’s Church was built on the site of a much older church that was replaced by the current buildings around the 1950’s.
