The small village of Lenham on the busy A20 just outside of Mary is home to a magnificent and ancient church in the form of St Mary’s Church. Records show that a church has been on the same spot since 804AD. St Mary’s Church has a number of memorials, some of the most poignant being to the fallen of war. Inside the church there is a marble tablet, whilst outside in the grounds there are Stones of Remembrance.
