The 13th Century St Nicholas Church in Linton has an unusual connection with Nelson’s column in Trafalgar Square. The sculpture EH Baily, who created the monument also has several beautiful sculptures in the ‘Cornwallis’ Chapel within the church including a recumbent figure of Lord Brome. The church also has a large number of impressive stained glass windows and other interesting items. Linton’s St Nicholas church stages regular religious services and festivals throughout the year. Visitors wishing to view the church can use the village car park adjacent to the church.
