St Peter and St Paul Church in the village of Newnham in Kent is a charming parish church. The first stones in its construction were laid in the late 13th Century with the work taking almost twenty years to complete. Inside the church has a somewhat austere feel as it lacks any stained glass windows and the wooden pews are not carved and plain in appearance. For many years the church was used by a prominent local family and in the 14th Century a Champion Court Chapel was added.
