Set into the folds of a hill just outside the village of Boughton Monchelsea near Maidstone in Kent is St Peter’s Church. St Peter’s Church is an ancient Norman church which was started in the 13th Century. From its lofty tower exceptional views across the Kentish countryside can be gained. Inside the church there are a number of wonderful stained glass windows as well as a number of brasses that would be of interest to anyone interesting in brass rubbing.
