It is thought that the original church on this site was built around the fourteenth Century but unfortunately collapsed in the 1700s after a poor repair to the tower. Named after one of the most famous local saints, this magnificent church towers above the beautiful market town of East Grinstead. The modern church was constructed after a national appeal in 1788 and no expense was spared, especially on the magnificent tower and transepts.
