This beautiful yet understated monument forms one of the centrepieces of the water front in the centre of Eastbourne's most busy street. The monument pays tribute to the many thousands of men who throughout the 20th Century and particularly in the Fist World War and the Second World War gave their lives for their country from the Sussex Regiment.
