This museum was opened in 1982 and contains more than seventy years of military aviation history from this region. There is a special emphasis on the work carried out by the Royal Air Force at Tangmere and the air war that took place over Britain during the Second World War. The largest part of the museum is Merton Hall in which several original World War Two aircraft can be found, amongst many other interesting artefacts.
