The Glade is a large piece of open parkland at the heart of Old Coulsdon. It has for centuries been set aside by the local authority as a place of rest and relaxation for the people of the suburb. During the summer months people play cricket and in the winter many play football on the Glade. The area is primarily used for people to walk, run and jog, enjoying the natural beauty that surrounds them.
