The Green has been one of the most important public spaces in the history of the small but perfectly appointed Kent village of Westerham. Since there has been a community here the village green has been used as a place of trading and meeting by local people and visiting traders on their way to and from London. The green today is effectively a piece of parkland reserved for people to sit, relax and watch the world go by.
