The King's Hall is Herne Bay's premier entertainment venue. Its varied programme of events includes sports championships, comedy, trubute bands and seasonal parties. The Hall itself is also worth seeing. A fine Edwardian building, it was opened as the King Edward VII Memorial Hall by Princess Henry of Batternberg on July 10 1913. Today, visitors can still enjoy a taste of Edwardian luxury in the tearooms where cream teas and homemade cakes are served with panoramic sea views.
