The Nightingale Theatre was started above a pub and became popular in the 1980s when a whole string of women's theatre companies began to perform there. The 50 seater venue is a great intimate environment in which to watch a play. The theatre has an eclectic programme throughout the year and is conveniently located opposite Brighton Railway Station.
