Brighton attracts some of the best artists from around Britain and the world, perhaps because of its picturesque sea scenes or its vibrant alternative culture. The Open Studio is one of several great galleries in the centre of Brighton. Concentrating on exhibiting work by local artists, the gallery is located in one of the arches close to the seafront near Brighton Pier. The gallery is open all year around and changes collections regularly.
