Otherwise known as Tower 73, the Wish Tower is one of many Martellos built during the 19th Century along the south coast of England to help protect against invasion by sea. The tower is one of the finest preserved in the country and is unusual because it appears to be entirely constructed of London Bricks. The tower is now home to a small museum which charts its history.
