The imposing facade of the United Reformed Church, in the picturesque village of Lindfield near Haywards Heath in West Sussex, shows its age having been first erected on 21st September 1857. Religious services in the village, however, date back even further to 1810. Interestingly the church only had electric lighting fitted as recently as 1948. Over the centuries only minor changes have been made to the church, which today also doubles as a meeting hall for the village.
