Victoria Recreation Ground in Portslade is a large area of public open space near the main road that splits the seaside part of the town from the old Portslade village. The ground is laid out mostly for ball games such as football, rugby and cricket. A small clubhouse is available for hire, which also houses public toilets near to the free car park. Victoria Recreation Ground is also home to Southwick Rangers Football club where they train their under 15’s.
